A considered edit of architectural hardware.
Hardware is the part of a house people actually touch. A lever on a bedroom door, a pull on a kitchen drawer, a knocker on the front door: they are small, but they set the tone of a room and they get used thousands of times a year.
Whitcombe Hardware exists to make choosing them easier. We focus on one thing, architectural hardware for interiors and entries, and we keep the selection deliberately short. Door levers and knobs, cabinet pulls and knobs, hinges, sliding and pocket door hardware, and exterior entry hardware, organized by finish and style so a whole house can be coordinated.
How we choose
- Solid materials and finishes that age well, such as brass, bronze and properly finished black.
- Clear specifications: sizes, center-to-center spacing, backset and function, stated plainly.
- Pieces that belong to a family, so a kitchen pull, a door lever and a cabinet knob can share one design language.
How this site works
Whitcombe Hardware is an independent guide. When we recommend a product, we link to the retailer that sells it. That retailer handles the price, stock, payment, shipping and returns. We may earn a commission from those links at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate disclosure explains this in full.
